AN IDEA IS BORN:

After my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and trying to support her through one of the toughest things she has fought, I felt completely at odds with knowing how I could support her. After having some difficulties with my emotions at work I contacted the Cancer council for support and advice, which lead me to discovering the "look good, & feel better" meetings they host. After encouraging mum to go, she reluctantly agreed as long as I went with her.
It was the most inspiring day I have ever witnessed, with the most inspirational women coming together and being taught how to use makeup, wigs, bandannas, & skin care to help with their confidence. Stories and experiences were shared and by the end of the day my mum had formed bonds with women in the same boat (while she went on to kick cancer to the curb), and I walked away with a new sense of purpose.

Then July 1st 2016 my life changed in the BEST way, Summers Secrets was born, giving me the opportunity support people in finding their confidence and beauty.
